Northamptonshire IT Services Transition to NHS Leicestershire Health Informatics Service (LHIS)

From 1 October 2026, NHS Leicestershire Health Informatics Service (LHIS) will become the provider of IT services for Northamptonshire Integrated Care Board (ICB), Primary Care Networks (PCNs) and GP Practices, following the transfer of services from AGEM CSU.

We are delighted to welcome Northamptonshire organisations to LHIS and look forward to supporting colleagues across the county with high-quality, NHS-owned digital and IT services.

LHIS is a trusted NHS digital partner with more than 25 years of experience delivering technology, infrastructure, cyber security, service desk and digital support services to healthcare organisations. Hosted by Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust, we provide services to the Integrated Care Board (ICB), GP Practices, Primary Care Networks (PCNs), Community Health Services and Mental Health Services across Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland.

The transfer will ensure continuity of service, with all existing IT services continuing under LHIS. We are working closely with AGEM CSU and local stakeholders to ensure a smooth and seamless transition, with no significant changes expected for users as part of the move.

As an NHS service, our focus is on delivering reliable, responsive and customer-focused support that enables healthcare organisations to provide safe and effective care. We are excited to build new partnerships across Northamptonshire and support future digital innovation and transformation across the health and care system.

Further information, including details of how to access and contact LHIS support services, will be published closer to the transition date.

Welcome to LHIS. We look forward to working with you.
